There will be a lot of news about the upcoming total solar eclipse this year and the Regina Centre is getting prepared.  Some of our members have made their own travel arrangements to view the eclipse from either Wyoming or Idaho.  If you are wanting to be in the path of totality, just know that there are no hotel rooms left along the eclipse path from Oregon to Nebraska.  However, if you would still like to see the partial solar eclipse that will be visible all over North America, you are welcome to look through our telescopes which will be set up at the Saskatchewan Science Centre for public viewing.  The eclipse will start at 10:30 am Regina time.  The sun will become 75% covered at 11:46 am and then will finish at 1:04 pm. You are welcome to join us and let's hope for clear skies to see this amazing event!
