Star Parties
Saskatchewan is known as the land of living skies due to unobstructed views from horizon to horizon. The unobstructed views combined with extremely dark locations makes Saskatchewan one of the best places in North America for astronomy. The Regina and Saskatoon Royal Astronomical Society centres team up to organize multiple star parties during the summer. A star party is when amateur astronomers gather to observe the sky. There are additional events during a star party such as guest speakers and public observing sessions. All are welcome to attend!
